Duncan single-wing Skill award patches were available from 1949 to 1955. Double-wing (or Expert) patches were the next step up for a player to earn but were only available for a couple of years. And, like so many Duncan patches, these single-wings came in different color combinations.
Nineteen-forty-nine marked the first year that single wing patches were awarded by any yo-yo manufacturer.
