This is the second largest version of the flying eagle champion patches and a very uncommon red version. Over the years, Duncan gradually reduced the dimensions of the patch, made slight, overall, design adjustments, and used different color schemes entirely. The flying eagle patch has been used into the 90s.
Since the early 1950s, the Duncan Flying Eagle Champion patch has been released in the following versions:

• Blue Flying Eagle Champion, version 3
• Black Flying Eagle Champion, version 1
• Black Flying Eagle Champion, version 2

The patch in this exhibit is not mint (the Condition field in the software is broken). I would grade it a condition of 5-6/10. | |
