An unusual single wing Cheerio School Instructor patch, likely from the late 1940s to late 1950s, in the USA. It's not clear how you became a Cheerio yo-yo school instructor or what qualified you to be a school instructor. Most instructor patches required that you successfully complete 24 or more tricks.
Material-wise, this patch was manufactured in a similar fashion to most Duncan patches from the same time period. That is, a heavy gauge cotton backing cloth with red and blue embroidery stitching.
As a general rule, Cheerio patches that have Yo-Yo on them were made for the Canadian market; Cheerio patches that do not have Yo-Yo on them were made for the USA market. If you are a collector, you know the reason why.
