The BTH is the current (as of January 2023) long sleeper world record breaker by C3yoyodesign. It achieved a sleep record of 30 minutes 28.30 seconds by Simpson Wong at the World Yo-Yo Contest 2012 in Orlando, Florida. The world record was officially recognized by the American Yo-Yo Association.

(Previous record holders were the SuperYo Samurai and the YoYoFactory Buddha King 2.)

For a yo-yo to be used in setting a world sleep record, the AYYA (American Yo-Yo Association) required that the yo-yo maker produce and sell 100 or more of the exact same yo-yo used in the record attempt.

From the C3yoyodesign website: "More than a year of design and fine tuning, BTH is the premium design by the master craftmanship which design aim for breaking the World Longest Yo-Yo Sleeper Record. Using the bi-metal technology, BTH is made by press fitting A6061 alloy body and brass inner ring. The thin width and large diameter design which make the highest inertia result."

Allegedly, 140 pieces were made. Each boxed yo-yo came with an official certificate issue by C3yoyodesign. It is still (as of 2023) the heaviest metal yo-yo ever put into production.

Collected May 14, 2015.

Materials include A6061 aluminum body with fitted solid brass weight rings, full spec size C ball bearing, and 19mm slim pads for response.

This super heavyweight yo-yo was intended for sleeping, exclusively.

Miscellaneous information about the BTH from the Japanese version of the c3yoyodesign website:

Special concept model BTH
Set a long sleeper world record of over 30 minutes

For the first time in human history, this is an ultra-long sleep specialized model that officially recorded a long sleeper exceeding 30 minutes. The bearings are initially equipped with 10-ball stainless steel bearings. At the long sleeper record meeting held at the 2012 World Championships, he set an amazing record of 30 minutes 28 seconds 30 seconds . From then until October 2014, that record is still unbroken.

This yo-yo weighs 220g and looks like an 'iron ingot'. In all, it's the ultimate monster machine, designed just to keep spinning for a long time. Of course, you can hardly do ordinary tricks regardless of string tricks and looping tricks. BTH's mission is to just keep spinning after being thrown.
Can you really break the long sleeper 30 minute cover with this BTH?

• The color is RAW silver (no processing) only.
• Be sure to read the instruction manual and handle with care.
• The target age is 9 years old and over.
• Do not use near humans, animals or objects.
• This yo-yo is made for long sleepers. You can't do ordinary tricks.
• Binding from undermount (bottom mount) is not recommended.
• Disassemble gently and carefully.
• Replace the strings frequently.
• We recommend using 10-ball bearings for best performance.
• Because it is not anodized, it may oxidize when it comes in contact with moisture."

Sleeper world record '30 minutes 28 seconds'
"At the World Championships in August 2012, we set a world record for Sleepers (commonly known as Long Sleepers).

World record, humanity's first more than 30 minutes
World competition held in Florida, Orlando, USA in August 2012. Media producer Simpson Wong Wai Sheuk set an astonishing record at the annual American Yo-Yo Association recording session . Sleeper's record meeting, he established a sleep time of 30 minutes 28 seconds 30 . The record set by the public and the rigorous examination of the judges is also a precious moment for humankind to exceed 30 minutes in the long sleeper for the first time (as an official record).

In November of that year, the strongest long sleeper exclusive model BTH that set a world record was officially released. As of October 2014, his world record is still unbroken.

Monster machine BTH exclusively for long sleepers
It weighs 220g and weighs nearly four other full-metal yo-yos. Therefore, it is no exaggeration to say that it does not support any other tricks, and it is literally a 'long sleeper only' monster machine.

But if it's not extraordinary, it won't even challenge the high wall of world records. Concentration to keep the yo-yo still for more than 30 minutes, slow power and accuracy, and BTH in the best conditions. When everything is in place, it may be the day when a new world record is set."
