Sponsors and Curators
The Museum of Yo-Yo History is a labor of love, and we would not be able to stay up-to-date with exhibits without the support of our sponsors and curators. Big thanks go to One Drop Design and Duncan for supplying us with their latest models, YoYoExpert for their help and support, and to Cody Orr, TotalArtist and YoYoBrothers™ for allowing us to use their collections!
If you're a manufacturer, or just a big collector and you want to help support the Museum drop me at line at chimera@yoyomuseum.com

The Royal Master Yo-Yo Top, No. 59.
"Precision designed by the original yo-yo experts to rigid tournament specifications."
"These tricks [Walking the dog, Around the world, Over the falls, Rocking the baby, Stars, Sleeping beauty, Milking the cow, and Loop the loop] can only be performed with our Yo-Yos from 49 cents and up."
Made by Royal Tops Manufacturing Company, Incorporated, Long Island City 1, New York. Note that the address does not have a ZIP code. Instead, it uses a postal zone number that was implemented in 1943. The "1" in the address above indicates the postal zone in Long Island City. Given the "modern" packaging, it is likely that this yo-yo was sold between 1960 and 1965.
The card is pre-printed with a price of 59 cents. Many Royal cards from this same time period had a pre-printed price that was identical to the yo-yo's model number. See the following exhibits:
• Royal – Tournament, No. 409, 49¢ US
• Royal – Master, No. 59, 59¢ US
• Royal – Standard, No. 69, 69¢ US
• Royal – Monarch, No. 100, $1.00 US | |
