The 2006 Yomega Power Spin Yo-Top was touted as "Two toys in one: It's a yo-yo... It's a top!! Easy play, fast spins." The yo-yo itself was shaped similarly to the Active People [YO]² Delta model.

The packaging for this green and blue yo-yo is one of the most innovative and interesting that I have ever seen. It's both functional and visually engaging. The yo-yo is prominently displayed in the center of the clear, round (round, like a yo-yo) plastic casing. But what makes this packaging so unique is the ability for you to rotate the yo-yo within the case, giving you a 360-degree view of both its front and back, all without opening it. This unique, rotating feature added a wonderful, interactive element to the packaging. (Notice that even the packaging was copyrighted!)

The toy came with an extra cotton string, an extra bonus spin top, a spin starter tool, and a paper yo-yo trick booklet (looks like a CD) that illustrated 30 basic tricks. An interesting, short-lived toy design from Yomega that is hard to find now.

Yomega has released combination yo-yo and spin top toys in various iterations since the early 1990s. Some of these iterations include the following:

• Gemini Gyro, version 1
• Gemini Gyro, version 2
• Gemini Gyro, version 3

The Power Spin name has also been in use by Yomega since the early to mid 1990s:

• Power Spin, 1997
• Power Spin, 2010
• Hyper Impulse, 1998
