The Kitchner Knobs Cheerio is the first Cheerio. Like the later models, the logo was a printed foil sticker, in the well known shape. Some of these are also stamped on the reverse. One version of the story says the ones for export carried the additional stamp, and only the Canadian versions just have the sticker.

The logo reads "Kitchner Buttons Limited, Buttons & Radio Knobs, CHEERIO, Yo-Yo, Kitchner Ont. Canada."

The ones carrying the reverse ink stamp read "Pat. Pend. Reg., Design 752823, Made in Canada" in a oval with a large "99" below it.
