The Dell Big "D" Flying Star, style number 603, was an early Dell butterfly-configured yo-yo made with marbled plastic. The packaging uses the word yo-yo on it, but the yo-yo itself does not. In the mid 1960s, this seemingly insignificant detail--among other things--would play an important role in Dell eventually ceasing yo-yo production to avoid legal action taken by Duncan over the use of their trademark "yo-yo".
Uncommon marble swirled body and side caps. Originally retailed for 69 cents as preprinted on the card. The plastic bubble over the yo-yo has deteriorated over time and exhibits numerous cracks and small openings on the outer circumference. The yo-yo is still brand new.
