The YoYoFactory Loop 1080 Electric Glow lights up when it spins, thanks to the addition of LED lights inside one halve of the yo-yo. Because the halves are a translucent yellow, the lights are visible in the dark regardless of which side you are looking at.
Due to the LED lights inside one of the halves, the 1080 Electronic Glow is slightly heavier and larger in diameter than the original Loop 1080. However, its balance is maintained by having the gap-adjusting device installed inside the other halve. To replace the button batteries, you must use a thin screwdriver to remove the side cap. The battery type and orientation are molded into the side face over the LED assembly.
