The Sleep Machine, and Roller Woody, were the first wooden bearing models from Tom Kuhn. The Sleep Machine was the most popular because of its concave shape. Bearing axle and adjustable gap, but the yo-yo had to be disassembled to adjust the gap set screws. Notice that in the response view, that Tom Kuhn even put "inside" logos on these, or rather inside instructions on how to adjust the string gap width.

Pictured here is one early Roller Woodys, from the early to mid 1990's. Natural high gloss maple, like the No Jive.
