The Throw Down Luchador made its debut in early 2007. It featured an extremely angular profile with a wide catch zone, recessed dif-pad response, and a Konkave bearing.

The Luchador was so sharp that it came packaged with a disclaimer absolving the maker from any injury or death incurred from its use.

Two runs were released, the pictured example being of the 2nd run, which is distinguished by a lighter gray, and the mask logo engraved on both sides (as opposed to only the gray, as in the 1st run). A polished edition was later released in extremely limited quantities.
