Hallmark Cards, Inc., of Kansas City, Missouri sold a variety of Hallmark-branded yo-yos and yo-yo strings inside their stores.
The four-colored strings in the pack were identified by such names as Fuss Budget Blue, Good Grief Green, Red Baron Red, and Great Pumpkin Orange. Made for use with all designs of Peanuts yo-yos.
Colored strings were a major departure from the traditional "white" cotton strings that every other manufacturer made and sold. For that reason alone, these strings were quite unique during the time they were sold.
