"The Executive Yo-Yo was Millennium's first production yo-yo. It was designed for the man who has everything. It was made from aluminum having anodized bodies and polished side caps. One side is printed with the words 'The Executive Yo-Yo'. The main feature of this yo-yo is its auto return system. An inertia clutch is released when the yo-yo is thrown, allowing the yo-yo to 'sleep'. Then, as the yo-yo slows dow, the clutch bites the nylon bearing and returns the yo-yo to your hand with a fierce snap. The Executive Yo-Yo came in six stunning anodized colours: Blue, Gold (seen in this exhibit), Green, Pink, Purple, and Red. It was presented in an textured black box with a black satin lining.
Follow the making of a yo-yo
The Millennium brand of yo-yos has been around for several years now, this is due to the attention we pay to detail and the high quality of our products. All our yo-yo's start life on the drawing board with a number of criteria to meet. Weather the main criteria is size, looks, or playability, it undergoes the same stringent procedures. After the prototype is drawn up, it makes its way to the machine shop. The very latest C.N.C machines are used to produce the yo-yos, so the first step is to program the machine. After programming, the aluminium bar is loaded and the machining process is under way. A few prototype models are run and tested for weight, balance, playability, and an all over size check is performed on either a CMM (co-ordinate measuring machine) or the latest digital visual comparator. Final changes to the design are made at this stage, drawings altered, and printed off. Now we are all set for a production run. Constant checks are done during machining to maintain accuracy of the component part. Final inspection, cleaning, and assembly of components are done in a clean environment.

Millennium Yo-Yos were manufactured by PJP Precision Engineering Limited of Great Britain. The Executive Yo-Yo was first release around 1998 or 1999 and continued to be sold up until late 2006, about the time www.millenniumyoyos.com webstore went offline. Besides The Executive Yo-Yo, they also manufactured and sold four other models: Piranha, Brushed Piranha, Millennium Wing, and Fly Zappa. While their production quantities for their five models is unknown, the brand was more well known and popular in the United Kingdom and other parts of Europe than in the USA (Dave Hall's former skilltoys.com website was the only US distributor of Millennium yo-yos).
Millennium Yo-Yos maintained an online webstore from late 2004 up until late 2006.
