An aluminum ball bearing yo from England billed as "The High Performance Yo-Yo - With 65,000 rpm precision bearing." This particular model of yo-yo is very hard to find now. The reason is because it was on the US market for about two months before being recalled. The yo-yo violated the patented bearing system used by the Tom Kuhn SB2 aluminum ball bearing yo-yo, now made by What's Next Mfg. of New York. It came with a setting key (much like the TK SB3 model) and string; packaged in a small red box (instructions were printed on a separate piece of paper and glued to the underside of the box lid) lined in a black silky-type material.
Collected February, 1999. Only one halve has an identification; it's engraved with "Piranha Yo-Yo." Otherwise, there's no other marks for manufacturer or when made, and so forth.
Original retail price: $90 US.
This model was eventually re-released and sold again around 2004. The revised version came with a new adjustment knob that did not violate the TK patent.
