YoYoFactory's all-time best-selling model, the 888, was made available in an 88% version for MMXX (2020). The model in this exhibit was known as the 888MMXX
Machined from stainless steel and polished, this model was engraved on the outside face of one halve with the 888 logo that originally appeared on the 2008 888 yo-yos. The outside diameter was also engraved on one halve with Eight Eight Eight in a script font style.
The yo-yo came with black hub stacks pre-installed over the hub nubs. The YoYoFactory-branded box that the yo-yo came in also included one neon green string and a trick sheet.
A total of 100 pieces were made of the 888MMXX: 20 of those were made for a special 888MMXX Dragon edition. They were sold directly from the Spin Gear website in Japan; the remaining 80 were made for the regular 888MMXX edition that you see in this exhibit. It had an engraved logo that was previously used on YoYoFactory's 888 2008 model. The engraving appears on the outside face of one halve only, and Eight Eight Eight is engraved in a script font style on the outside diameter of one halve. This regular edition was sold directly from YoYoFactory's website.
