The Museum of Yo-Yo History is a labor of love, and we would not be able to stay up-to-date with exhibits without the support of our sponsors and curators. Big thanks go to One Drop Design and Duncan for supplying us with their latest models, YoYoExpert for their help and support, and to Cody Orr, TotalArtist and YoYoBrothers™ for allowing us to use their collections!

This version 2 instructor felt patch likely came out in the early to late 1950s. It was typically sewn onto an award sweater vest as seen in this photograph of three 99 Cheerio champions, or onto a Cheerio-branded cap similar to the one seen in this exhibit.

Made of thick white felt with red and blue stitching.

Compare with the Cheerio Junior Instructor patch, version 1.

The 99 was the name of Cheerio's popular yo-yo model in the 30s and 40s.
