The new velocity from YoYoFactory is based off the original design with some modernizing updates. The New Velocity is made from a more durable plastic and sports a wider and more rounded shape for added comfort in hand. in addition to updates made to the shape of the yo-yo, the "adjust-o-matic" dial was redesigned with raised ridges for a better grip and an easier turn.
