The Roadster was a one piece wooden yo-yo, designed as a looper. Traditional design and construction. The sides were slightly concave for better weight distribution. The company machining these for Playmaxx accidentally made them slightly oversized, and Playmaxx stayed with the larger diameter because it added to the functionality of the Roadster. These were sold unfinished, although a special finished release was also available, but very limited.

Playmaxx secured the rights to the Flores brand name, and used it on two versions of the Roadster. This is the second release, first available at the 2000 Proyo Worlds. The logo was designed for Proyo by Matt Carter, Scarecrow, and it also featured a laser carved scene on the reverse, reminiscent of the old hand carved yo-yos.
