Spin Gear sold these replacement side caps for its plastic Spin Gadget yo-yo, American Metal Spin Gadget yo-yo, and Metal Spin Gadget yo-yo. You could attach them as replacements or swap them out for a different look.
The side caps were sold in sets of two and came in a variety of finishes, including glow-in-the-dark, metallic stamp, metallic stamp with matching metallic cap body, aurora (aka iridescent) stamp, blackout, clear, solid, glitter, and translucent colors.
The side caps seen in this exhibit were released June 2024.
The black seen on side caps in the top row was caused by a reflection during shooting.
