Cajun Spinner's 10th release, the Tournament Gaituh "23" Shadow.
From John Myshrall, owner of Cajun Spinner's Yeaux-Yeaux:
"As far as I and other collectors have been able to determine, this is the first production wooden glow in the dark yo-yo ever made. There have been some one-of-a-kind glow in the dark [wooden] yo-yos made in the past (see the YoYoFactory Legend Wing for one such example), but never made in quantity.
For the brightest, longest lasting glow, charge your glow in the dark Tournament "23" yeaux-yeaux in the sun. While it can also glow when exposed to household lights, the glow is not as bright or as long."
The Tournament Gaituh "23" Shadow Yeaux-Yeaux featured a three color (yellow, black, red) vinyl sticker seal on one side.
This model came in the following colors:
• White glow in the dark yeaux-yeaux and string (seen in this exhibit)
• Natural maple with clear coat
• Spider web yellow (yellow body with black drizzled paint)
Released September 7, 2023

Take a look at the upper-left corner of the card back (Under Other Views in this exhibit, see "Packaging, side A and B")—it features an image that indicates this was the yo-yo that was previously released as part of the same series. The image shows a butterfly along with the text: "CAJUN SPINNER'S - OFFICIAL BUTTERFLY YEAUX-YEAUX." When that model was initially released, it was quickly removed from eBay. The reason? The use of the term "Butterfly" violated Duncan Yo-Yos' trademark on the word when used in relation to yo-yos.
To resolve this issue, a new, corrected sticker was printed and applied over the original label on the entire batch of yo-yos. The revised sticker reads: "CAJUN SPINNER'S - OFFICIAL GRAND ÉCART YEAUX-YEAUX." For reference, you can view the corrected version in the Officiel Grand Ecart exhibit.
