From yoyofactory.com:
"Before there was YoYoFactory Godspeed.
Before there was YoYoFactory DNA.
There was YoYoFactory 888.
The eight eight eight ushered in a new era of yo-yo performance.
Fifteen years after its inception in 2007, we introduce its highest form, the Legendary eight eight eight.
A fusion of aluminum body halves, titanium rims, heritage, and the future."

The Legendary 888 was released December 9, 2022 just in time to squeeze that last chunk of money out of you right before Christmas with the family. It was YoYoFactory's end of year gift to itself based on the $130 price tag if you ordered December 9-11 2022; $150 if you missed the pre-sale (which I did; too bad for me). Yo-yo came in a YoYoFactory-branded storage can along with one black YoYoFactory yo-yo glove, YoYoFactory modern tricks and secrets poster, and two neon green 100% polyester strings.

A somewhat disappointing release due to the yo-yo shipping with very small random nicks on the anodized rims. The flaws were noticed and echoed by other buyers of the yo-yo on a yo-yo forum.
