The Spingear Metal Spin Gadget - Masterpiece, released in 2024, is the Heartbeat yo-yo edition inspired by Spingear staff member and performer known as "440."
440 designed the logo himself, incorporating a unique dial motif symbolizing the idea of "fun to play with anytime." To represent "an encounter with the joy of yo-yos," the design also features a nostalgic, nerdy element: the iconic long sleeper trick that many yo-yo enthusiasts remember seeing for the first time.
The yo-yo came with caps available in two color options: black (as showcased in this exhibit) and white. Users could personalize the feel of the yo-yo by either using the side caps or removing them. The engraved design on the metal halves mirrored the cap design for a cohesive look.
By default, the yo-yo was configured for traditional responsive play, but it also included a size D concave bearing for those who preferred dead (unresponsive) play.
This exclusive model was packaged in either a wooden box or a clear plastic box, adding a choice to the collector's experience.
