The wooden Thunderbird made by Royal Tops Manufacturing Company, Inc., of Long Island 1, New York from the early 1960s. Three piece construction in a butterfly configuration. The triangle decal is 100% intact which is very unusual for a yo-yo that is more than sixty years old. The diameter and weight of this model suggests that it was a beginner model.
The "Thunderbird Royal® Yo-Yo®" text is in yellow text on a red background and white border; a thunderbird motif is in the middle of the decal.
