The website described the release as available in "limited quantities," although the actual production quantity was not disclosed. On October 17, 2024, the site appeared to have 338 units available, based on the maximum quantity that could be added to the shopping cart, suggesting that the release was not especially limited.
In May 2026, YoYoExpert.com began selling the same model. It sold out shortly afterward.
The plastic model shown in this exhibit is closely related to the aluminum Duncan Butterfly AL - Unknown Edition, released in 2022. The main differences are the plastic body material and a slightly revised side-cap design on the 2024 version.
