To celebrate the 66% release of Spin Gear's Step 1 mini aluminum looping yo-yo, Spin Gear of Japan released a commemorative reprint of their popular full-size plastic looper Step 1 - My First Yo 001 seen in this exhibit. The reprint was sold without its original packaging; instead, it was sold in cellophane envelope.

Based on the looping star, we have revived the STEP1 cap with UV printing. A printer in Hachioji City created a cap that is more beautiful than the original version.
It felt good when I added the Spin Gadget shaft and spool to Step 1, so I released the Looping Star. Why not be soothed by a yo-yo with a non-bearing (that is, a plastic transaxle bearing) response?"
