"Sturm Panzer's SS-001 Mini Panzer (2024 version)
Smaller than a 1Â¥ coin! The world's smallest metal yo-yo.
[STURM PANZER SS], a sub-brand of Sturm Panzer produced by ZhaoYuan Liu, also known as 'PHENOM Guy', a former member of TeamYoYoJam, has started.
'SS' means Side Story.
Unlike the mainstream STORYBOOK series, this brand embodies the passion and originality of PHENOM's yo-yos and shares them with the yo-yo community.
The Mini Panzer 2022 version, which is a "binding yo-yo smaller than a 1Â¥ coin", has undergone a minor change to bring you the Mini Panzer 2024 version.
Until now, there was a limit to the width of the gap with the size of the bearing (approximately 2.5mm wide) exclusively for Mini Panzers.
To widen the gap width and improve slippage, there has been a minor change to the 'beefcake' specification, which has two 1.5mm wide bearings lined up to make the width 3.0mm.
To make it to the 'beefcake' specification, we created a new specially shaped axle. Even with a regular-sized yo-yo, changing the gap width by 0.5mm makes a big difference in the feel of the yo-yo. This is more noticeable with the Mini Panzer series, and you can expect it to be more effective in reducing sleep loss.
There are two color variations available in the Mini Panzer 2024: Light Rainbow and Red (seen in this exhibit). The gap width is widened to make it harder to bite when binding, but it may be difficult for some players to bind.
Conventional dedicated size bearings:
• SP-α coated bearing + 2 types of accelerator set (2 accelerators, 12mm and 10mm, wrench included)
• SP-α NSK bearing + accelerator set (1 accelerator, 10mm, If you replace it with a bearing (with wrench)
• You can also downgrade to the same specifications as the Mini Panzer 2022.
Replace bearings and axles at your own risk.
*Spare parts for the bearings and axles newly adopted in 2024 version will be sold at a later date.
The included strap for the Mini Panzer 2024 is a 'high-end metal strap.'
Like the previous high-end strap, it comes with a holder that fits perfectly with either the 2024 version or the 2022 version.
A small holder for the old Mini Panzer (2000/2001/economy version) is also included with the high-end metal strap sold separately. A Mini Panzer 2023 version was never made/released."

Because the yo-yo is too small, standard yo-yos cannot be used, so it is equipped with special strings, bearings, responses, and accelerators. This product, which was renewed in 2024, uses a 'beefcake' layered with two thin bearings. The gap width increases, making it easier for the string to stay centered.
