Introducing the OUTLIERmini, Brandon Vu's training yo-yo of choice.
The OUTLIERmini was designed for a singular purpose: to maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of a yo-yo player's practice time.
To increase his accuracy, Brandon had his competition model the OUTLIER+ widened to 50mm. However, over time he acclimatized to the extended catch zone and became complacent with his accuracy. That's where the OUTLIERmini comes in. Its dramatically undersized diameter of 41.9mm forces the player to concentrate harder to land competitive yo-yo tricks, and in the process, turbocharges gains in their motor skills and overall accuracy.
But don't let its small size fool you because the OUTLIERmini is no gimmick yo-yo. It is designed for competition. The OUTLIERmini boasts a bi-metal construction, with an aluminium body and stainless steel rings. The yo-yo weighs in at 66 grams ensuring that it has the stability and spin-time of a full-sized competition yo-yo.
The OUTLIERmini is designed to be just as long-spinning and stable as a regular OUTLIER+, albeit half the size. We were careful not to sacrifice any other element of competitive playability with the other than deliberately making it harder to catch to hone the player's accuracy.
Finally, the OUTLIERmini comes installed with a standard large concave bearing and standard 19mm pads. This configuration means the mini is compatible with standard equipment, ensuring that you can always find spare parts that most competitive yo-yo players already have. The yo-yo can tolerate long and intense practice sessions, while being easily repaired alongside its larger predecessor the OUTLIER+.
Combining the ease of catchability of the OUTLIER+ and the increased accuracy with the OUTLIERmini, you can expect to see great improvements in your competitive accuracy before long. For too long, specialized training yo-yos were limited to world yo-yo champions. If you want to take your practice to the next level, the OUTLIERmini can take you there."
