"IT'S ORBITOP"

Newest Outer-Space "GO-GO", this spinning satellite on a string comes equipped with its own true-blue Astronaut, to perform all "space commands" he receives from his skillful young master controller! 2" diameter, red, white and blue plastic with steel shaft, and extended antennas to ensure him receiving all important signals!

Yo-yo was covered by US design patent 189,583 from January 10, 1961. The design patent made reference to the following two sources:

• Newsweek, March 4, 1957, cover. See Composition image A.
• Sears Xmas Book, 1958, page 361, Item H. Helicopter.

The Orbitop first appeared in the 1963-64 Breck's of Boston Christmas catalog. See the Breck's catalog image.

Original retail price: $1 USD.
