This carded National Olympic yo-yo is packaged under the bold headline "Official Yo-Yo Is Here." The front of the card includes a starburst price marking of 89¢, along with cartoon mascot Mr. Yo-Yo wearing a branded shirt and standing alongside the yo-yo in its clear blister.

The yo-yo itself carries Olympic center label with the words "Original" and "Genuine," paired with a torch graphic. The design on the label was not new to this model. However, what was different was that a sticker seal was used instead of a stamped seal. As for the yo-yo itself, it was a traditional, one piece wooden fixed-axle tournament style model that was so common for many decades.

The packaging definitely leans into the performance promises by saying that it is a "Super Sleeper," "Does All Tricks," and highlights "Perfect Balance." It also promotes a "New Type Axle" and "One Piece Construction."

At the bottom of the card, note that the distributor line reads "National Yo-Yo and Bo-Lo Co. Ltd., Toronto," tying the piece to the company that also referenced a related skill toy (the "Bo-Lo") in its name.

Compare to the National Olympic gold yo-yo with red stamp seal.
