Three different "families" of fixed axle, wooden yo-yos in this photo: the boxed National Olympic yo-yos in the back with silver and gold finishes and one-piece construction; in front, two National Jeweled Satellite yo-yo models and one National Pro Tournament model, all three on stands, and three-piece construction. All the yo-yos were made by Elfverson of Sweden in the early 70s and sold exclusively in Canada.
The two open retail/display boxes full of mint National brand "Olympic" yo-yos featured the distinctive Olympic torch-style center stamp in metallic red. The yo-yos also featured concave axles to help keep the cotton string centered on the axle while it was sleeping.
The front row red and black yo-yos are Original β Jewelled β YO-YO β Satellite β Genuine with three clear jewels embedded in each halve and a cream gold centered sticker label.
The front row blue yo-yo with white stripe is the Original β Pro β YO-YO β Tournament β Genuine with a cream gold centered sticker label.
