The Gold Edition FAST 201 wasn’t just a colorway, it was a prize yo-yo. During YoYoFactory’s F.A.S.T. Challenge promotions, players who completed the ten listed tricks in 15 seconds or less earned a Gold Edition F.A.S.T. 201 (not a regular retail release; noted in the 2006 Singapore promotion). Same 201 guts from the regular edition (adjustable starburst response), but with special gold/yellow caps and gold edition print to mark the achievement.
