The card’s copyright (1978, 1981) and multiple period listings on auction sites place this model squarely in the 1981 Avon Garfield range. Note the absence of a UPC code.
The yo-yo itself is a plastic two-piece return top with a raised, molded Garfield figure on the face, surrounded by a red ring reading "GARFIELD". More of a novelty item than a high performance yo-yo; typical of Avon catalog premiums of the era.
