The YoYoFactory Die-Nasty (aka Dynasty) in a glow in the dark version.
The YoYoFactory Die-Nasty is the signature model of Yo-Yo Master Steve Brown, who is best known as the inventor of counterweight (5A) play. While it may appear to be a standard plastic yo-yo at first glance, its design is rooted in performance and innovation.
Based on the YoYoFactory Grind Machine, the Die-Nasty removes the inner rim and hubstacks in favor of solid plastic side caps. It belongs to YoYoFactory’s "Death to Metal" series—alongside the Protostar and Counter Attack—but instead of using metal rims for added weight, it uses a plastic sidecap design to keep the price low while maintaining excellent play quality. Equipped with a Center Trac bearing and a wide fixed gap, the Die-Nasty is capable of advanced tricks and even contest-level performance.
This yo-yo is a great option for players looking to learn bind return techniques without a big investment. Steve Brown and YoYoFactory succeeded in showcasing the full potential of an all-plastic yo-yo with a model that reflects a player's unique style.
Came with the YoYoFactory Die-Nasty User Guide.
