Yomega's neon Raider yo-yo in a limited yoyonation.com edition (version 2.0). The version in this exhibit features edge glow green body halves, white sidecaps with a bright purple ink imprint.
From yoyonation.com:
"Yet another YoYoNation.com exclusive limited edition!
If you're going to learn 2A (the style of yo-yoing where two yo-yos are used to do mostly looping-style tricks), learn it in style with these YoYoNation.com neon Yomega Raiders.
As flashy as 2A style of play is, these neon Raiders make any loopers' loops pop, making the yo-yos and you visible (try using these at dusk… amazing and vivid color!).
For those that aren't familiar with 2A play, the top 2A players in the WORLD prefer Yomega Raiders as their looping yoyo. Moreover, if you notice, most of the players use either bright red or bright yellow Raiders. There is a reason for this! Supposedly, the plastic used to make the red and yellow Raiders "mod" the best. Specifically, these are the colors that turn out the best while performing the ever-so-popular Raider mod. Just to name an inkling of the players that use either red or yellow Raiders: Patrick Mitchell (2004 & 2005 US Nationals, 2nd place), John Ando (2004 & 2005 US National Champ), Shinji Saito (2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, and 2006 World Champion), Koji Yokoyama (Multiple World and National Titles)!
If you're thinking of learning 2A, or want to expand your arsenal of amazing 2A tools, grab these limited edition YoYoNation.com neon Raider yo-yos today."
Released April 2008.
