Spintastics glow in the dark Technic model. A wooden fixed axle yo-yo with a control edge designed for excellent looping characteristics. At the time in 1998, the Technic was the lowest cost professional quality competition yo-yo on the market. Designed by 1992 World Yo-Yo Champion, Dale Oliver. To say, "Designed by Dale Oliver", is a significant statement because every world’s champion since 1992 has won the competition using yo-yos that used concepts designed by Dale Oliver.
All U.S. made Spintastics yo-yos were made from virgin polycarbonate plastic, the same plastic used in bank teller’s bullet proof shields. In other words, these yo-yos will not break. And, all Spintastics yo-yos used a take-apart style for easy string knot removal and were rim-weighted, making them among the longest spinning plastic yo-yos on the market.
Original retail price: $10 USD.
