About Cajun Spinner's
"Thirty years ago, my son took up yo-yoing so I began collecting vintage yo-yos as a way to relate to him. Well, he grew up and I didn’t. I fell in love with the yo-yo community with all its diverse talents, creativity, and most of all selfless generosity, always willing to share and encourage others. For years I have wanted to make a contribution to our incredible sport and hobby, and I hope I have finally found a way.

When today's great-grandparents, grandparents and parents were children they were thrilled to spend hours of fun at home and with their friends playing the greatest selling toy of all-time, the Yo-Yo. It is a learned skill you will never lose, entertaining you and others for a lifetime. Ball-bearing yo-yos are amazing, but the original wooden, fixed axle yo-yo remains the greatest test for the skills of any experienced yo-yoer.

Cajun Spinner’s is bringing today’s generation their own fond memories by tapping into the past with handmade classic, wooden, fixed axle yo-yos…with a Cajun twist. On February 2, 2023, we will launch the first four of many more to come Cajun Spinner's Yeaux-Yeauxs, sold in limited quantities exclusively on eBay under the seller name of "cajunspinners". If you like them, tell your friends and buy them all y'all! If you don't like them, be very, very quiet.

Release #4. The Genuine L’Emigrette, which is the French word for "yo-yo," the favorite toy of Napoleon Bonaparte, King Louis XVII, and a host of others throughout history. Twelve each in copper body/green stripe, black body/copper stripe, blue body/black stripe. There is a painting, dated to 1789, that hung in the Louvre Museum in Paris, France showing a 4-yeard-old, future King Louis XVII dangling a yo-yo at his side. The French Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte (1769-1821) was known to carry a l'emigrette and encouraged his soldiers to do the same because he thought it was a great stress reliever.

The back of the Yeaux-Yeaux package has pictures of the seal's for the prior Yeaux-Yeaux, and the next Yeaux-Yeaux. So here's a little inside scooop: next month's Yeaux-Yeaux will be the Filipino Come And Go Yeaux-Yeaux, honoring the early Filipino demonstrators who beat the pavement every day all over the country promoting the greatest toy of all-time!

The Lord willing, a new Cajun Spinner’s Yeaux-Yeaux will be released the first week of each month, so be on the lookout and tell your friends! As we Cajun yo-yoers like to say… Laissez tourner les bons temps, 'Let the good times spin'.

Thanks brothers!
