The butterfly-shaped Terracotta 440 B.C. Yeaux-Yeaux was the freshman release (February 2, 2023) from the new, wooden fixed axle boutique company Cajun Spinner's, based out of Huntsville, Alabama. Made out of maple, this one-piece yo-yo has a different laser-engraved design on both sides. Laser engraved by YoYoFactory in Arizona.

This model came in natural maple.

About Cajun Spinner's
"Thirty years ago, my son took up yo-yoing so I began collecting vintage yo-yos as a way to relate to him. Well, he grew up and I didn’t. I fell in love with the yo-yo community with all its diverse talents, creativity, and most of all selfless generosity, always willing to share and encourage others.

For years I have wanted to make a contribution to our incredible sport and hobby, and I hope I have finally found a way.

When today's great-grandparents, grandparents and parents were children they were thrilled to spend hours of fun at home and with their friends playing the greatest selling toy of all-time, the Yo-Yo. It is a learned skill you will never lose, entertaining you and others for a lifetime.

Ball-bearing Yo-Yos are amazing, but the original wooden, fixed axle Yo-Yo remains the greatest test for the skills of any experienced Yo-Yoer.

Cajun Spinner’s is bringing today’s generation their own fond memories by tapping into the past with Handmade Classic, wooden, fixed axle Yo-Yos…with a Cajun twist.

On February 2, 2023, we will launch the first four of many more to come Cajun Spinner's Yeaux-Yeauxs, sold in limited quantities exclusively on eBay under the seller name of "cajunspinners". If you like them, tell your friends and buy them all y'all! If you don't like them, be very, very quiet.

Release #1. First, there is the 440 B.C. Terracotta Yeaux-Yeaux [seen in this exhibit]. Forty-two made. Whenever you look-up information on the history of the yo-yo there is almost always a picture of and reference to an ancient Greek vase on display at the National Museum of Athens, Greece dating to 440 B.C. showing a boy throwing down a yo-yo. These ancient childhood toys were most often made out of terracotta clay, metal or wood.

The Lord willing, a new Cajun Spinner’s Yeaux-Yeaux will be released the first week of each month, so be on the lookout and tell your friends! As we Cajun yo-yoers like to say… Laissez tourner les bons temps, 'Let the good times spin'.

Thanks brothers!
