From yoyoexpert.com:
"The mid-school technical style of the early-to-mid 2000’s stands as the undisputed foundation of modern yo-yo play. That golden age of yo-yo innovation is best described as an era of immense sophistication and avant-garde exploration of yo-yo as an artistic medium: for the first time, the limitlessness of yo-yo was being discovered.

The original Cold Fusion was around for the entirety of this golden age of yo-yo and was revered for its premium aluminum build and long spin times and stability, which allowed players to really explore the endless nature of yo-yo. Just as pioneers of modern yo-yo, Cold Fusion in hand, blazed forward into the unknown, we return back to where we have already been, taking a closer look at the beauty of the landscape we may have originally brushed over. As we go back and rediscover, we need the proper tool to do so, which was precisely what we created the Cold Fusion GT for.

The Cold Fusion GT has all the features of a modern mid-school yo-yo. It features the weight distribution of a slimline yo-yo, made possible by its bi-metal construction, giving it a great deal of stability, while also featuring an inviting slim V-shaped gap, making precise string tricks effortless. Also included is the all-important small bearing, which gives this yo-yo both a strong, long-lasting spin and the mid-school vibe we all love.

Take a trip back to the golden age of yo-yo with the Cold Fusion GT!"

From yoyostorerewind.com:
"This is a wing-shaped version of Playmaxx's Cold Fusion GT.

It is a full metal yo-yo with a narrow wing shape, a unique sight among the current mainstream full metal yo-yos.

Originally based on Playmaxx's 'Cold Fusion,' this model is a string trick version of the Cold Fusion. The first version was released around 1998, but died out. Then, in the 2020s, a string trick model called a pull-back metal yo-yo, which can be likened to a retro boom in the yo-yo world, became a hit among the core yo-yo fan base, and this product is a reissue aimed at those nostalgic fans.

While enjoying the retro atmosphere, this model is also a light touch on modern tricks for those who enjoy them. With a wider range of tricks than the original, this yo-yo satisfies the selfish desire to "play with the feel of the old days, but also throw today's tricks."

Came with one extra set of response pads, and one neon yellow string.

Released November 2022.
