A specially crafted string made to accompany the production of Spin Gadget's Kotonoha Akane & Aoi yo-yo.

The pack contains an equal number of blue and pink strings, inspired by the colors of the Kotonoha sisters. Initially, a prototype was made by twisting the two colors together into a mixed color string, but this resulted in a shade closer to purple. To maintain each sister’s individual color, the final product was settled as an assortment with half of the strings in each color.

The strings are slightly thinner than standard ones (slim size) and are optimized for Spin Gadget and Looping Star play styles. They are also recommended for looping play.

This product was a collaboration with Kitty String, a yo-yo string brand used by world champions and known as a staple for competition-grade strings.

Original retail price: 880Â¥

Kotonoha Akane and Kotonoha Aoi are virtual characters from the popular Japanese text-to-speech and voice synthesis software VOICEROID and VOCALOID. They are portrayed as twin sisters with distinct personalities and voices, making them popular figures in the virtual vocal community.

Kotonoha Akane is represented with pink as her theme color. She is energetic, cheerful, and a bit mischievous. She is usually portrayed as the more playful and outgoing sister.

Kotonoha Ao is represented with blue as her theme color. She is calm, gentle, and more mature compared to Akane. Seen as the soothing counterpart to her sister's energy.

Both characters are typically depicted in stylish outfits reflecting their personalities and theme colors (pink for Akane and blue for Aoi), making them easily recognizable icons in the voice synthesis world.
