This is a signature model of Brian Cabildo, or Glasseye, as we've known him for years. Operator of the old Glass Lab on the internet, and a leader of Duncan Team DXL.

"The black one is the Glasseye edition Duncan Torque.  I came up with the concept.  I wanted an eye and I wanted the physical properties of the yo-yos hub to be used to accentuate the eye and give it a 3-D effect.  There is one test run of the original artwork I created for the concept.  I didn't like how it came out so I got with Paul Escolar to help me create original art for the eye.  Because of the way the yo-yo was shaped, I was able to laser rings around the eye to really make the yo-yo pop.

I believe I was the first one to do something like this.  I've noticed some other companies have copied this.  I haven't asked them directly, but I believe the Surveillance by Mowl was heavily influenced by this design.  There are less than 15 all black ones in circulation.  There are also a couple really rare ones in all red, half red half black, and all silver.  Escolar has one all silver and I have the other."
