The YoYoFactory GenXs was first released on a limited basis in the December 2018 YoYoExpert winter mystery box.
YoYoFactory took the shape, stability, spin time, and performance of their Genesis model and scaled down its size and redistributed the rim weight to create the GenXs. Designed in the USA and made in China out of 6061 aluminum. Uses a size C bearing and 19 mm slim pads for the response.
The general release of this yo-yo occurred January 4, 2019.
