The last version of Rainbow made by BC/What's Next. The Rainbow versions were numbered 49 (1997), 50 (1998), 51 (1999), and 52 (2004; seen in this exhibit). A fixed axle yo-yo in a tournament (aka classic, standard, or imperial) configuration. Gold foil seal. Came with one extra string, a red velour pouch, and a small owners manual. This model is quite difficult to find now. The classic tournament configuration shape continues to be a standard workhorse design by so many yo-yo makers, past and present, including Country Workshop, Hummingbird, BC/What's Next, and now Tom Kuhn, all companies run by Brad Countryman.
