The Piranha was released towards the end of the late 90's yo-yo craze. Similar in design to the Tom Kuhn SB-2, the first Piranhas also included the same gap adjustment. To avoid legal complications, the gap adjust was changed to a gap adjustment knob on the reverse side, a very unique modification. The original Piranhas, made in the late 90s, were polished to a mirror finish. The 2004 re-release have a brushed finish.
