Chico was another line of yo-yos owned and released by Joe Radovan, owner of Royal Yo-Yos. "Chico" was his nickname. The Chico line mirrored the Royal line in design. Similar logos, the same wood blanks, and even the logo designs. Chicos are far less common than the similar Royal models.
Notice the unpainted area in the groove. Many yo-yos from the era show this production mark, 90 degrees from the stripe. The yo-yo was held at this point while being painted and striped.
