The Throw Down Shuriken was the 2nd release by Throw Down Yo-Yo's. It was a 'micro' yo-yo, slightly larger than the Tom Kuhn Pocket Rocket, and made of carbon steel. Since the material oxidizes quickly, the Shuriken was coated in manganese phosphate (gun metal), and then clear coated, resulting in a very unique finish.
The Shuriken's Konkave bearing sat in an outlandishly huge gap, considering the yo-yo's diminutive size, and was shipped with thick Dif-Pads to manage response.
