The Museum of Yo-Yo History is a labor of love, and we would not be able to stay up-to-date with exhibits without the support of our sponsors and curators. Big thanks go to One Drop Design and Duncan for supplying us with their latest models, YoYoExpert for their help and support, and to Cody Orr, TotalArtist and YoYoBrothers™ for allowing us to use their collections!

When Duncan bought out Playmaxx, they inherited a large number of Cold Fusions. The inventory was part of the settlement Playmaxx received in Playmaxx vs. Custom Yo-Yo patent infringement lawsuit. The Cold Fusions were in various stages of completion. Some were still natural aluminum, some anodized, some complete with logo.

Duncan first sold out the completed Cold Fusions. When those ran out, they for the first time put the Duncan brand name on the Cold Fusion. Pictured here is a Cold Fusion from the first Duncan run.
