The SuperYO (Millcreek, Washington) Turbo Tread wheel yo-yo was made to have the appearance of a treaded car tire complete with chromed hubcap. Used a starburst response along with a wooden axle sleeve and take-apart design similar to a ProYo. Notice the initials SY in the center of the yo-yo's face. It's close cousin is the SuperYO Nitro with a ball bearing axle.

Original retail price: $7 USD.

Of interest…
Unsurprisingly, yo-yos shaped to look like wheels have been a common theme among yo-yo makers since the 70s. Here are a few from the past:

• SuperYO Turbo Tread wheel with chrome cap
• SuperYO Turbo Tread wheel with red cap
• Seastrom - Aero Wheel
• Bandai - Dunlop Dragon Cluster wheel
• Tsukuda - Wheel
• Duncan - Speed Racer Mach 5 Wheel
• Duncan - Wheels
• Duncan - Fire Wheel
• Duncan - Wheel
• Tomy - Dunlop Pocketmate Yo-Yo wheel
