The Museum of Yo-Yo History is a labor of love, and we would not be able to stay up-to-date with exhibits without the support of our sponsors and curators. Big thanks go to One Drop Design and Duncan for supplying us with their latest models, YoYoExpert for their help and support, and to Cody Orr, TotalArtist and YoYoBrothers™ for allowing us to use their collections!

Are Japanese-language instructional sheet packaged with a YoYoFactory yo-yo (in this case, the YoYoFactory ONEstar - Carp Boy edition)—specifically designed to help beginners learn proper string setup, handling techniques, and foundational tricks.

Side A, titled "Get Ready to Play" walks users through preparing the yo-yo string: adjusting its length, tying a slipknot, attaching it correctly to the finger, and properly winding the string onto the yo-yo. It also includes illustrations for replacing a yo-yo string and promotes additional resources, such as YoYoRewind's online store and Yoyo Info Base for further education.

Side B, "Yo-Yo Tricks," introduces essential beginner-level tricks like Sleeper, Walk the Dog, Forward Pass, and Bind. Clear diagrams accompany each step, making it accessible to anyone, even without fluency in Japanese.
This sheet not only educated but promoted safe play, proper handling, and further engagement with the broader yo-yo community, including a mention of the Japanese Yo-Yo Federation (JYYF). Together, the sheet serves as a compact, well-designed starter guide that combined instruction and brand outreach.
