Doraemon yo-yo featuring the character face of Doraemon, a blue male robot cat from the popular Japanese mange series called Doraemon. He is a major character in the series and the older brother of Dorami, a female robot cat. Yo-yo has a molded, plastic body with metal axle and cotton string.

Show premise: One day, a round, blue, cat-style robot named Doraemon, appeared in front of Nobita-san. Doraemon was sent back to the past by Nobita’s great, great, grandson to prevent Nobita-san from making mistakes that will draw his descendents into poverty. Of course, this is not a easy task, because Nobita-san is so unlucky, weak, and lazy. Doraemon does, however, have a 4-dimensional pocket on his front side, which contains all manner of gadgets from the 22nd century, and it is with these gadgets that he tries to help Nobita-san get through various problems.

This hard to find yo-yo was supposedly not for general sale to the public. Exactly how it was sold (or given away) is not known. It was licensed by Fujiko-Pro, Shogakukan, and TV-Asahi of Japan. Epoch Raku made four of these character yo-yos from the long running series.

Distributed by Argos Co., Ltd., Tokyo, Japan and released in 2002.
