The Museum of Yo-Yo History is a labor of love, and we would not be able to stay up-to-date with exhibits without the support of our sponsors and curators. Big thanks go to One Drop Design and Duncan for supplying us with their latest models, YoYoExpert for their help and support, and to Cody Orr, TotalArtist and YoYoBrothers™ for allowing us to use their collections!

A black and yellow ballbearing yo-yo in a modified design. Came packaged with extra bee colored strings (yellow/black) and two extra cork brake pads. One of the best playing plastic yo-yos ever made.

The yo-yo in this exhibit was new, old stock sold by YoYoFactory on May 1, 2023 during their "A-May-Zing" promotion for the month of May 2023. Its sale coincided with the re-release of the Playmaxx/ProYo cork brake pads under the YoYoFactory brand.

The clear, plastic box came with two round Turbo Bumble Bee stickers that sealed the outside of the box on both ends. Other such boxes had no stickers, such as this example.

Original retail price: $50 USD in 2023 (original retail price in 1999 was $30 USD).

Compare to the Duncan Bumble Bee.

Originally, the yo-yo used genuine ProYo replacement parts that included bee strings and cork brake pads.
